I'm so happy here.

Laying in bed,
not sleeping, but thinking.
 
Thinking about life,
and how it passes.
 
How for every 100 people you meet,
1 of them will be a best friend.
How unlikely it is that things work out a certain way.
 
What if I didn't live here?
What if I wasn't even here?
 
Thinking about how the decisions I made
as a senior in high school
will dictate every single thing about the rest of my life.
 
Not just what I do,
but who I do it with.
 
As I'm about to leave college,
I couldn't immagine my first year being any better.
The people I have met, have been amazing-
And it's hard to think...
If I would have chose to go to school somewhere else,
or not to go to college at all...
Would I have met people just as amazing?
 
Probobly not.
 
Some people talk about how they make bad decisions.
Well, for once, let me tell you,
I made the best decision of my life.
I could not be happier right now,
and it's all just because of people.
 
I spent 18 years laying the track for my railroad of life,
and now I'm on a bullet train to ultimate happiness.
 
It's almost like something just hit me.
Meeting these people that I have such strong ties to,
people I spend every momment of every day with.
Being attatched for life...
It's taught me something important-
 
Everything I ever thought I wanted or needed,
means nothing.
I have what I need, and what I want...
And I could never be happier,
just laying in bed here,
thinking... not sleeping
